Will You Buy WordPress Theme

I noticed that many sites have selling WordPress themes, some selling $15 per theme (mostly this theme looks not very unique); some selling their themes for the price ranging from $50 until $100 (some themes more high on the price).

Since there are many sites have providing free WordPress theme to download, my question is, will you still buy WordPress theme? You can give a vote for the poll is located at the right bottom sidebar.

I’m not sure how about you, since I know a little bit how to design WordPress theme, then I have never think of buying WordPress theme, unless I think it is worth to buy for those unique and special themes.

Update 08/12/2007: The poll made my site load slow and I already take off this poll. Anyway, the result showed that 80% of bloggers will not going to buy WordPress Theme, the rest will consider to buy WordPress theme.

    Given the number and quality of various free WP themes available I can’t see why anyone would buy one unless they were getting an expertly designed custom theme that would not be sold to anyone else.

    Frankly speaking I seldom seen many quality and unique free WP themes available in Blogosphere. This is the reason why I have spent many time to learn how to design WP theme for me and other bloggers.

    I guess it depends if you need a 100% complete out-of-the-box theme or if you don’t mind tweaking it a bit. Since I’m a programmer I can’t resist applying my own changes to a theme but I can see how a non-programmer may find it difficult to make even a simple change, like putting Adsense in a sidebar.

    Yes, you are right. Some of my friends have this problem.

    The course that I have been taken also major in programming, but I’m quite weak in programming because I seldom touch it. I love web design although I’m not graduated from graphic design, so I’m learning now. :)

    Your theme is quite OK for the design compare with other free themes.
