Google Banned WidgetBucks.com but Yahoo Don’t
Google has banned WidgetBucks.com from the site appearing in the search result recently and most probably due to the hidden text links. If you type “WidgetBuck.com” on Google and trying to search, you won’t see its official site on the first page of Google, even on the following pages. But if you go to Yahoo and search, there will be showing the result. Obviously you can see that Google banned WidgetBucks.com, but Yahoo don’t.
WidgetBucks.com Violated Big G’s Guideline on Hidden Text and Links
There is no official word from Google yet but it looks like WidgetBucks.com violated Big G’s guideline on hidden text and links.
If your site is perceived to contain hidden text and links that are deceptive in intent, your site may be removed from the Google index, and will not appear in search results pages. When evaluating your site to see if it includes hidden text or links, look for anything that’s not easily viewable by visitors of your site. Are any text or links there solely for search engines rather than visitors?
Disable JavaScript from Your Browser, WidgetBucks Advertisement will be Disappeared
When you disable the JavaScript from your browser, and refresh the page again, you will see the WidgetsBucks advertisement will be disappeared. The presence of a hidden text links using the Flash animation is a violation of Google’s Webmaster Guidelines.
