My Google Adsense is Disabled by Google

Remember last week I just blog about I got my first Google Adsense earning? Unfortunately my Google Adsense is disabled by Google now (NOT this blog is disabled) and most probably because I placed my ads on several blogs which violated their TOS. Below is the email that I have received for the notification of my Google Adsense is disabled by Google.

While going through our records recently, we found that your AdSense
account has posed a significant risk to our AdWords advertisers. Since
keeping your account in our publisher network may financially damage
our advertisers in the future, we’ve decided to disable your account.

Please understand that we consider this a necessary step to protect the
interests of both our advertisers and our other AdSense publishers. We
realize the inconvenience this may cause you, and we thank you in
advance for your understanding and cooperation.

Do you like Google Adsense? How many of you have faced the same situation like me?

UPDATE 02/12/2010: If you google ads is banned or disabled, you can check how to re-apply your google ads account.

I’ve been with adsense since 2007 and unfortunately I haven’t reached the min payout… well I was kind of inactive with adsense and so far I’ve made only around $32.00. I hope soon when I reached the min payout my account won’t get disabled…

  7. it seems that my Adsense earnings this month have plumetted. i don’t know why :

  8. Jonathan says:

It took about a month to reach the minimun threshold for payment from Google adsense and just received my PIN today to get my first payment, Lo and behold, get an e-mail from them today saying my account is disabled, no explanation, seems they are doing this more frquently to people. I appealed, however reading others who have appealed, I am not getting my hopes up very high. Nothing for awhile, then a big spike in traffic to my site and Whammo, I’m disabled! Assholes!

  9. B Miaji says:

I got similar email just a few hours ago and there is no explaination. My earning just reached the minimum amount and i supposed to get my first payment at the end of this month. Now it is disabled. i guess google play like god and never gives any chance to explain. wha to do?

  10. WardblawG’s Google Adsense account is now disabled. I will try appealing. Hopefully, saying something like “I plan to take over the planet, having registered 180 domain names” might re-activate my account. Doubt it. Google always has had a love-hate relationship with lawyers. Now, I fear, this has turned to an arch-nemesis relationship with one Scottish lawyer with which Google does NOT want to mess. Once WardblawG takes over the planet, this day shall be rued by Google.

  11. I am trying to understand Google adsense so if anyone could give me some more insite I would be very greatful I have got some really good advise and insite and am willing to share what I know for you to better understand but I am new and need much much more. Thank you

  13. darian schubring says:

I have the problem of my adsense account getting deleted. Does it think im spam? when can i get it enabled?

  14. Sion says:

There is no clear direction on what is the actual criteria for reapplying new adsense account when it is banned. It seems like your account will get banned when you have earned lots of money from adsense. Some friends whom I knew got banned in their accounts even no money was earned and having a hard time reapplying it.

  15. Topicsfollow says:

Many people are switching an alternative way to apply google adsense through DocStoc, Hubpages and Blogger accounts concurrently. Some succeeded doing in this way and some don’t.

  16. Jon Smith says:

I had just set up my first site at the beginning of August this year, added Adsense to it, then posted the link on a couple of forums. In two days I got 1,000 page views and 14 ad clicks. For the rest of the month I get about 30 views a day and no clicks. Then I check my Adsense this week (September) and find out it is disabled for invalid activity. I appealed only to be told I still won’t get it back.

Google are assholes and I swear I will take them out. I will make it my life’s aim to compete with and conquer Google. Veni vidi vici.

  17. William says:

Same here, was just about to the min. $100 and my account was disabled, said I had vioalated the terms, the thing is, All I did was display their ad my website that did not violate the terms.

There needs to be a class action lawsuit to ground these theives.

Google Adsence and Adwords have both stolen from me.
I started an ad campain, the ads were never served, and balance still went to $0, I also paid an activation fee.

Anyone who really wants to battle Google, I will join you…

  18. Warren says:

I think we should think of a class lawsuit.

WHY: Gogle says they refunded the money earned back to the advertisers.

This is not the case as my company was one of the advertisers and never saw a refund from clicks that I paid for. (I have proof that they have disabled an account that they never refunded the money they billed the advertiser) The money Google billed advertisers a year ago has not been refunded back to advertisers. Esp those who already paid per click and may or may not have an adwords account anymore. Anybody in on this? (Carefull g-00-gle eyes are watching! (grin)

  23. John Cull says:

I have had Google Adsense on my site for about four years, one day I had several thousand hits on a page because the BBC linked to my site – then I got the dreaded message – your account has been disabled.
I can’t even begin to understand the reason – the message they sent was so unclear – could be not enough original content – could be your readers don’t have a friendly experience – could be you have autogenerated pages – could be Google would have to pay me something. Well they don’t now – I’m disabled!

  24. dave says:

i just got banned also just few days ago. I got that letter, and still puzzle to me why. the main reason i see is maybe i advertise one of their google adsense without knowing in my blog or in my sidebar. Im planning to appeal but, seems hopeless to get back. but life must go on, just move on without adsense.

  25. KH Teoh says:

I with google adsense for 4 yrs. Now avearge earning US150/- after with aweber.com services traffic increase.
suddenly they mail me disabled my account. Coming my perfomance increase, they just disable like that.
I on appeal now, look like no hope any more.

  26. Google SUCKS! says:

Google Adsense sucks big time. OK maybe they are right when they ban accounts, maybe most of these people do indeed break their TOS, but Google sucks for not offering a second chance or better said for not warning first.

First they should warn the user by saying something like: “We don’t like “THIS” on your website, you either fix it or get banned. And until you fix it, please stop using our ads. After you fix it you can readd our banners on your website.”

But noo…. Google doesn’t do that because Google is NOT HUMANE, Google is an animal beast! A greedy satanic corporation interested in banning your account and stealing your earnings.

  27. I Hate Google says:

Me too! Hope they company will down soon. They act just like they can rule everything!

  28. mark says:

Just got this email today and have no idea why they disabled my account. It’s one thing if you know you were doing something that broke their TOS, but when they just disable you and don’t tell you why that’s the most frustrating part! FUCK Google! They have gotten to the point that they feel untouchable! I’m down with the class action lawsuit!

  29. Uhu says:

You know I was just about to log into my AdSense to get a code for my website and I was shocked that my account is dissabled! I checked me EMAIl and NOT EVEN a letter saying you are being dissabled. I dont know when and WHY ,but it is gone. I am sticking with the Amazon refferal program and will not be clicking anyones ads on any site. Google EAT ME and the EAT SHIT!

  30. hai. same case with me. My account was also in not enabled by google. now, how can I make that account be active?

  31. adsense is the best ppc paying program out there, there are many alternatives but most of them does not pay as much as adsense ~

  32. Korsgaard says:

My account was recently blocked with no explanation either. I submitted an appeal and hope to get a postive response.

  33. I like it very much! Thank you for sharing! And i’ll read your articles more often!

  34. evar says:

I too have been ostracized by the overlord google. They should at least give you the EXACT violation, dates, times, ip addresses, instead of the generic form email.

I think a reach around is just a simple courtesy.

    Dear sir ,

  37. Adrian says:

When will some good lawyers get on to this? My account was disabled last week without warning after ten years using Adsense due to ‘ potential’ invalid clicks. There was no mention of where the clicks were or might be coming from and no suggestion of how I might combat click fraud in the future. Not a good way for the ‘do no evil’ company to behave. There should be something in the contract that spells all this out more clearly and ethically, otherwise they might as well be a law unto themselves. Perhaps Google themselves are confused?

  38. Daisy says:

    Hi,
My account disabled I did not get any mail. I actually got some mail which looked like another language I thought it was spam and listed it as spam. I have appealed I do not know what is going to happen. I hope they can see I did not do any illegal. I built all these sited and put the content and the adlink before I could even get a check it is banned. This should nto be happening because their software should be smart enough to know it not me who did what every the reason they disabled. I got up in the morning and see the email in a language I could not figure our one word of it. Hope I can do something to get the adsense back
    Daisy

  48. Adrian says:

I was a happy Google Adsense publisher for ten years, earning a decent amount of money per month (ranging ftom $1800 – - to $600. My account was disabled in November 2010. My site is harmless, with no obnoxious or offensive material, and I had not broken any of Google’s terms and conditions. I appealed, but no coherent explanation was given, not even for my own benefit. No decency here. Click fraud from a malevolent outside source? If so, where was the evidence they should have presented to me? I was unable to see my adsense reports to verify their findings. The reply to my appeal said my site was disabled for ‘potential click fraud’ – meaning there was no click fraud as such, only the possibility of it, but they would take my previous month’s earnings anyway. Is this kind of behaviour legal, not to say ethical? Could it be, as some expert commentators have been surmising, that Google has lost its way and is becoming shaky and desperate? I hope the upcoming European Commission inquiry comes down heavily on them.

  49. AngryGuy says:

Guys, I’m in the same boat, just created my first web page, and because some other people have linked it and I had about 30.000 page loads in the first month (and about $40 in adsense) they have decided to disable my account. Of course there is no explanation.

I think it’s the moment to use a different service. Can anyone provide an alternative to AdSense? I think appealing their decision is not worth, when they don’t even send you a warning or an explanation.

As of today, I start using yahoo and bing for my search engine.

  50. ShaftedByGoogle says:

I have just started a web hosting company website, inserted an adsense ad on the site. The site started off slow so an intense off-line marketing program with flyers, mail-outs and vehicle advertising was initiated. Page views started to rise all of a sudden and so did the clicks. Lo and behold just as I reached the payment threshold, I find my account is disabled this morning. I have applied for an appeal but won’t hold my breath.

As per AngryGuy I no longer even want to here the word google after years of promoting their adwords product to web design customers.

The people who will loose out from the actions google is taking are the people they are trying to protect. Don’t know about anyone else but I would NEVER recommend a google service to anyone again, so who are the loosers…. EVERYONE.
