Content should be brief as it can be but still cover every aspect. It's no use having 10 articles of content for something that could be understood in 3 or 4 articles.Also don't treat back linking just for google. Each backlink should be a "traffic funnel" to your site with google being the side project. Personally find your backlinks and don't buy into software that claim to submit to millions and millions of websites, their links are poor quality and will hurt you. In the long run.
