Is Agloco Scam?!

I remembered in the early of this year, many bloggers blog about Agloco, said Agloco can make big money and so on. Although I have signed up, luckily I have hibernated my Agloco account, because I couldn’t find any interests to Agloco.

At that time, many bloggers were busy seeking their referrers to build their network, some stupid fellows spent their money, asked bloggers like me who love to write paid post, and write review for Agloco as well as put their affiliate link in the post. There are some ignorant bloggers kept posting about Agloco in their blogs, of course with affiliate link. So I guarantee that you will start to see many people blog about Agloco is scam now.

This is very funny, I have read bloggers posts about “the Agloco toolbar is coming, you are going to be rich soon”. Please, there is no free lunch in this world! OK?

I was thinking that if you want to start good money, write good content in your blog and start with PayPerPost.com, SponsoredReviews.com, Google Adsense, and others, don’t expect to get rich over night with Agloco.

If you are member of Agloco, I’m sure you already received the email as below:-

We would like to update you on the status of AGLOCO’s operations. We continue to believe in the AGLOCO concept, but our revenue is currently not sufficient to give Members a meaningful distribution. RealRank is Launched, PPP Should Remove Page Rank Ranking in Thier System

Since PayPerPost.com has implemented the geographical segmentation which provide advertisers the choice to pick bloggers according to the continent, country and even the states in the past few months, I believe Asian bloggers might be get noticed the opps are appeared in PPP marketplace are getting lesser last time. Especially when Google goes after everyday blogger and RealRank is launched, these opps are getting more and more lesser compare with last time after the implementation of PPP segmentation.

If you refer to the following screenshoot, it is so pity to see that only 1 opp is available in my friend’ marketplace.

According to the above screenshoot, you might ask yourself why Asian bloggers only have less opps in the PPP marketplace, this definitely has been caused Asia blogger made complaints pertaining to this issue.

1. PPP advertisers still using Page Rank to create their opps although RealRank is launched may be they even don’t know how RealRank can benefit them after the Google goes after everyday blogger. Many bloggers who participated in PPP have received a “big present” from Google, that’s PR “egg” or “zero”, but many advertisers are still looking for PR blogs.

2. PPP geographical segmentation is launched in the past few month, most probably because of the purpose to filter all the posties from non USA and Canada.

So advertisers say “sayonara” to Asia bloggers, you can just forget about PPP from now on. One more thing, may be Google will also can say “sayonara” to PPP because PPP can’t fight with Google.

So PPP, they gonna to remove their Page Rank from their system and this only can prove that PPP is independent of Page Rank since they said they have their own ranking tool called RealRank.

TextLinkAds.com Changed Affiliate Link Again

Recently, TextLinkAds.com has changed Affiliate link again. Originally their Affiliate link is HTML link follow by reference id (i.e. http://www.text-link-ads.com/?ref=xxxxx), after sometimes they change to http://tinyurl.com/xxxxxx. Today, TextLinkAds.com has used a length of encrypted JavaScript, you cannot see what is inside this encrypted JavaScript through HTML, the only thing is you decrypt it then you will know it link to where.

Please update your existing Affiliate link with new JavaScript Affiliate link if you haven’t done so. If you haven’t join TextLinkAds.com, you can click here to sign up!

Bye Bye WidgetBucks Becasue You Only Accept Clicks from USA or Canada

If you are living outside of USA and Canada, you can now remove your WidgetBucks widget from your blog because starting from 15 November 2007, you will no longer be paid for clicks from visitors outside the U.S. or Canada.

Why They Did It

This is because clicks from outside North America don’t convert into sales and that it is bringing the overall returns to publishers down.

Bye Bye WidgetBucks! I live in Asia although I have big audience from European readers…

Future Trend of Paid Post Writing

After Google penalized TextLinkAds.com in the past few months, now Google had go for bloggers in PayPerPost.com’s network. What Google done is they demoted those blogs who write paid posts from PayPerPost.com from whatever page rank they had to zero.

What is the solution of PayPerPost.com?

Their solution is RealRank. According to PayPerPost.com, RealRank data is gathered from the IZEA Toolkit “ITK” (formerly PPP Tools). It is a piece of javascript that many of you already have and those outside of PPP will be able to get from a separate site without joining PPP or SocialSpark. ITK gathers REAL traffic information, much like your analytics platform and ranks users based on their standing within the network. The formula is relatively simple.

70% weighted towards visitors per day
20% weighted towards amount of ACTIVE inbound links per day
10% weighted towards pageviews per day

What is the solution of Blogger?

Blogger like me also cannot do anything, but I can see other bloggers start to use other keyword to replace their existing category of “sponsored post” or “paid post” or “payperpost” and so on. Mostly they don’t want to let people know their blog has participated in writing paid post. This is good for those advertisers are looking for post with no sponsored or paid text.

Summary of Future Trend of Paid Post Writing

  • No sponsored or paid text can be found on the blog although they have participated in writing paid post.
  • Blog Advertising Network company will come out their own ranking tool to replace page rank, like PayPerPost.com use RealRank
  • Page rank will not use to rank your blog in blog advertising network.

Another Round of Google’s PR Update, Google Deserved PR0 for Many Blogs This Time

Today is another round of Google PR update, I think this is the fifth round of update. This time, Google deserved PR0 for most of the blogs that are participated in selling text links and write paid post (This is what we guess about Google’s action).

Two of my blogs have been deserved PR0 after this PR update, and I have tried to check other blogger’s PR, most of them also deserved PR0 most probably they ever sell text link before. While I checked Problogger.net (PR6) and JohnChow.com (PR4), their PR remains unchanged this time.

Page rank matter for me to make more money online, some of you may be doesn’t matter after slapping by Google with a Google PR penalty. How about you?

Smorty, You Cannot Simply Declined Our Posts, System Error is not An Excuse

I have 5 posts have been declined by Smorty.com with the reason of one blog cannot take the same post more than once. After that they send me email as below for their reason of post declination and apologise for the system error.

There has been a system error in the last few days and the ads have been served to the wrong blogs. Unfortunately some of our advertisers have declined the duplicated posts. You can delete those declined posts from your blog if you want. We apologize for the inconvenience. Thanks for your support.

This case is quite similar to Blogsvertise case, the different is my posts under Smorty are waiting for approval only.

Smorty, do you know I have spent few hours time to complete these 5 paid posts but end up you simply declined my posts saying that due to the system error.

Blogsvertise, You Cannot Simply Rejected Our Post Which Has Been Approved

Blogsvertise Rejected My Approved Paid Post

I’m surprised to receive an email from Blogsvertise.com regarding the rejection of my paid post which has been approved last week. Blogsvertise asked me to remove the post because the advertiser has decided to discontinue his campaign, and has asked for a refund for some recent posts.

Blogsvertise, I Cannot Accept Your Reason like This

I was thinking that this is none of our business because whatever approved paid posts have to be getting paid as we have done our task. Blogsvertise should take the responsibility on this issue, they cannot simply contradict oneself and I totally cannot accept the reason like this.

I asked you, will you satisfied and angry when your employer refuses to pay you the salary after you have done your works?

Blogsvertise, You Broke Our Confidence to Your Company

Blogsvertise, if you want to provide your excellent and professional good service to your customer, this is not the action that you should taken for your best solution. What we want is our confidence to your extreme company, we do not wish to see Blogsvertise just like what we so called scammed website.

Google Banned WidgetBucks.com but Yahoo Don’t

Google Banned WidgetBucks.com but Yahoo Don’t

Google has banned WidgetBucks.com from the site appearing in the search result recently and most probably due to the hidden text links. If you type “WidgetBuck.com” on Google and trying to search, you won’t see its official site on the first page of Google, even on the following pages. But if you go to Yahoo and search, there will be showing the result. Obviously you can see that Google banned WidgetBucks.com, but Yahoo don’t.

There is no official word from Google yet but it looks like WidgetBucks.com violated Big G’s guideline on hidden text and links.

When evaluating your site to see if it includes hidden text or links, look for anything that’s not easily viewable by visitors of your site.
